I have over 100 filters and it is not possible to check whether they are run
automatically or manually without going into each one to edit them
individually.

I was wondering whether you could add an extra column to the filter browser
window called "Auto" which shows the user whether the filter is run
automatically. As with the "Enabled" column, it would be great if it were
possible to simply tick a box to change the filter run status to automatic -
tick=automatic, no tick=manual. 

I understand that there could be easier ways of implementing this, but it would
be very useful to see all the filters and their run status in one browser and
to be able to change the status from the browser without having to specifically
edit the filter.

Thanks, I will look into it. I agree the autorun flag would be important enough
to be featured this prominently and without having to edit individual filters.
