Hi there,

Just a normal thunderbird beta update then *poof*, no more quickfolders. The
quickfolders toolbar is still there, including the text "Drag folders here.."
but all the folders that were there are now gone. 

Furthermore, new quickfolder cannot be dragged over. Any folder I drag cannot
be dropped there. The mouse cursor remains "block". Even if dropped, there is
no change. 

Any idea?

Can you try the attachment at [Bug 26439? There were some fixes related to the
new version in there...

Yes! works without a hitch. 4.7.2pre58 solved it. Even brought back my previous
quickfolders.

Thank you so much. Did not expect such a prompt response not to mention an
immediate solution. 

I don't really need the pro version features to justify an annual pro license,
but can I perhaps donate a modest amount via paypal just to say thanks and
support the project or something?

Since it was fixed through [Bug 26439] I marked this one as dubplicate of that
- I suggest you subscribe yourself to that one for updates on Tb57+ issues. The
thing is that there were a ton of fundamental changes within Mozilla-Central
which break a ton of code. My Thunderbird  addons QuickFolders and quickFilters
are especially affected because some low level language constructs were changed
in a way that fixing them in a "trivial" way would actually completely break
Postbox compatibility.

So I am at a crossroads as to whether I should support the modern platform and
give up on Postbox compatibility (at least until they modernise their woefully
outdated JavaScript engine) or fork the code potentially doubling my work load.
