Description:   Opened: 2016-05-06 05:47
Since a recent Thunderbird update, Quick Move notifications are now in a larger
box, and presented in the workspace.

I am running Thunderbird 45.0 on Windows 8.1

I also added

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1270819

to deal with it (the alert is part of the Integration into Windows)

Created an attachment (id=8182) [details]
4.4.3 prerelease 32

This version overrides the too generous image size of Thunderbird's new version
(which was 80px * 80px) back to 32px plus 5px margin. I also slightly increased
the header's font size for branding reasons.

Hope this makes it usable again.

The Presentation is much better! However it seems to persist too long, almost
12 seconds. Is there a way for me as a user to adjust this? I don't know how
long it used to be, but I sense it was closer to 3 seconds.
Thanks!

I noticed that as well - but I have eno influence on the length - I think it is
done by the OS. Also only the first notification is really that long, all the
following ones are much shorter. unforutnately there is no "time" parameter in
this interface

Can you add your observations to the Thunderbird bug as well please?

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1270819

If anybody can fix it, they can - I would love a "time" parameter as well if
there was one.

I will add to the bug first chance. Have to get through the morning fire
drills.

Also - my notification consistently stays for ~12 sec.

Thanks for your time.
