Thunderbird 60 (Release and Betas)
QuickFolders 4.10 and several betas
Multiple IMAP folders synced from Outlook 365 in a single account

Simple but random and a little intermittent. Switching to a folder, doesn't.

 1. Left or right click on a folder tab.
 2. Mouse down to the drop-down list
3a. List closes as soon as the mouse pointer leaves the tab and enters the
menu
3b. Or, list doesn't close but attempts to mouse across to a sub-folder result
in the menu closing
3c. Sometimes, mouse off the tab and onto the list, and any sub-folders, and
all appears to work fine. Until you select a folder. Nothing happens other than
the list closes.
3d. Occasionally you can go through the same process and it works! You can
change to the selected folder, just as advertised!

There seems to be neither rhyme nor reason to this. Sometimes it works fine
although more often than not it doesn't. Trying twice often doesn't help,
thrice might do. Basically, try often enough and eventually it'll work. If you
have the patience.

Folder lists. Some are pretty short, some are short with a few sub-folders. One
is pretty massive - and that is the one folder that *always* seems to work.
There are sufficient folders here to fill the screen from top to below the
bottom... I suspect this folder always works because with a left or right click
on the tab the mouse pointer is placed directly into the folder list.

Did this ever work as advertised? Yes, on Thunderbird pre-60 (59?) and QF
4.9.1. Several TB 60 Beta versions have been tried, all with no improvement. QF
4.10 and betas were also no help.

In conclusion. Massively useful plug-in; with 30G+ of email, a daily deluge of
new mail and countless folders it is a life saver for quick filing and
navigation around those folders. And pre- TB 60 it worked fine, I just wish it
still did :(

Note. My two primary requirements/uses are just:
 1. Drag mail from InBox to a destination folder through QF. That always works
fine.
 2. Right click on QF tab and select "Open in New Tab" followed by Left or
Right click on the same QF tab to navigate to the required sub-folder (as
required).

Marking as duplicate of [Bug 26575]
I have been working on this for about 40 hours so far. Still not 100% what
causes it (except that it caused by a regression in mozilla-central which is
owned by the "Firefox" team of Mozilla and not Thunderbird)

It works in Thunderbird 60.0b6
and fails in Thunderbird 60.0b7

I also raised
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1482861
on this.

For (2) you can try this workaround: click on the tab with the left mouse
button while holding down CTRL.

Check out the prerelease at

https://quickfolders.org/bugzilla/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=26575#c17

doesn't fix the menus going away but it does fix most of the commands (clicking
th menu items now actually does something)
