I have just tested the new toolbar and it is awesome! It might be nice to have some configuration options that we could get at easily Thanks Rick

Created an attachment (id=7954) [details] Prototype with 3 new buttons The following 3 buttons would be helpful: # Show Filter List # Run filters on current folder # Run filters on selected message
Created an attachment (id=7955) [details] 2.8 prerelease 8 This is a working version with the new functionality (run filters on selected messages is completely new). I added a sliding notification which is invoked after the call to run the filters. I am not sure at this stage whether the filters are still running at this stage as I do not know whether this is an asynchronous call (chances are it is as you can keep working while the filter action is running; you can check tools > activity manager to find out if you have a particularly crowded inbox. If this is the case I might yet change the notification to something like "filtering in progress..." I felt it necessary to add a notification as the user doesn't really know otherwise whether Tb actually does anything.
Still to do: configuration option(s) to disable these buttons
Created an attachment (id=7957) [details] 2.8 prerelease 19 This version adds a an "advanced" tab to the quickFilters options where the icons visibility can be toggled individually. Note that this only affects the 3 new buttons (on the QuickFolders toolbar) the actual quickFilters assistant button is currently still only configurable via the main QuickFolders options dialog. Maybe I will add configurability for this one (from the quickFilters options dialog) later. By default, the Filter list and run filters on folder buttons are shown and the run filter on selected messages is hidden. I also redesigned the larger (24px) main toolbar button to be less confusing on the possible actions.
