After setting up and modifying a fair number of folders, I would really appreciate a "hot key" to press to bring up the QuickFolders menu on the selected bookmark/folder. Right now for each bookmark/folder, I have to: 1. Select the folder 2. Right-click and select the QuickFolders menu to rename the bookmark/folder. 3. Right-click and select the QuickFolders menu to select and assign color. 4. Right-click and select the QuickFolders menu to select and assign category. If you are adding and/or changing lots of bookmark/folders, that gets old real quick. Especially since Windows often diverts the focus to another window before you are finished sliding the mouse over to reach the menu options. Also, I am old and it is hard to hold my hand steady enough to not "slide off" the horizontal path to the menu option, which terminates the effort. It would be very helpful to be able to press a "hot key" and have QuickFolders automatically bring up the QuickFolders menu for processing the selected bookmark/folder.
Created an attachment (id=7200) [details] QF3.1 Prerelease 1 A first attempt at the implementation, this one uses Rigth-Click + CTRL. The actual accelerator / mouse combo might change in the final versions for the benefit of one-eyed mac mouse users.
Feature has officially landed in QuickFolders 3.1
